Are you a Health Professional or Educator who wishes to improve patient safety through interprofessional teamwork?

The Academic Center for Evidence-Based Practice is hosting a TeamSTEPPS® Master Training Workshop May 8-10, 2013.

TeamSTEPPS^® is an evidence-based comprehensive teamwork training system designed to improve quality and safety in healthcare, and is rooted in over three decades of research in high-stress, high-risk industries, such as military aviation.

The 2 ½ day workshop presents strategies to improve team-related knowledge, skills, and outcomes using a Train-the-Trainer model. Upon completion of this course, individuals will be equipped to train and coach staff in targeted work units.
